A two story structure housing with thirty-six apartments was recently completed in Saco, Maine with a HUD Section 202 Capital Advance of $2.5 million and an additional grant of $250,000 from Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston. |

The historic Mediterranean Revival style building is a three story, eighteen unit concrete structure. The design concept for the housing provides a modest environment which specifically addresses the particular needs of 18 persons disabled as a result of HIV/AIDS and encourages the integration of the project residents into the surrounding neighborhood. A HUD Section 811 Capital Advance of $1.4 million will be combined with more than a million dollars from secondary financing sources to develope this project. The project isscheduled for occupancy in Fall 2001. |

A seventy-eight unit Assisted Living Residential Community set on 12 acres in Amherst, Massachusetts. The project's mixture of studio, single and two-bedroom apartments was designed to allow maximum independence while providing individual assistance as the residents age in a community setting. |
